Accessibility Statement

We want every homeowner to be able to use our website with ease. Here is our commitment, what we have done, and how to reach us if something is in your way.

Last Updated: June 25, 2026

Our Commitment

Mahi Plumbing believes everyone deserves equal access to information about their home and their plumbing. We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology, and to continually improving the experience for all of our visitors and customers across Greater Houston.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and widely referenced for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. While we strive to substantially conform to Level AA and align with the ADA's goal of equal access, conformance is an ongoing process and we cannot guarantee that every page is fully conformant at all times.

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, we have built the site with measures including:

  • Semantic, structured markup

We use meaningful HTML landmarks and a logical heading order so screen readers can navigate the page in a sensible sequence.

  • Text alternatives

We provide descriptive alternative text for images that convey information, and we treat decorative graphics as decorative.

  • Keyboard accessibility

The site is designed to be operable with a keyboard alone, and we include a “Skip to main content” link so you can jump past the menu.

  • Visible focus

Interactive elements show a visible focus indicator so you always know where you are on the page.

  • Color & contrast

We aim for text and meaningful interface elements to meet WCAG AA color-contrast guidelines for readability.

  • Responsive & resizable

Content reflows for phones, tablets, and desktops and remains usable when you zoom or increase text size.

  • Reduced motion

We respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting and minimize animation when it is enabled.

  • Clear labels

Form fields and controls include clear labels and instructions to help everyone complete them with confidence.

Known Limitations & Third-Party Content

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Limitations can occur as we add new pages and as content is updated. In addition, parts of the site rely on third-party tools and content — such as online booking and scheduling, embedded maps, financing applications, payment processing, reviews, and social media — that we do not fully control and that may not meet the same accessibility standards. Where a third-party tool creates a barrier, please contact us and we will work to provide the information or complete the task with you in another way.

Assistive Technology Compatibility

We aim for our website to be compatible with current versions of popular browsers and with assistive technologies such as screen readers and speech-recognition and screen-magnification software, used on recent operating systems. Because technology and browsers change, you may occasionally encounter an issue with a specific combination of tools — if you do, please let us know so we can investigate.

Feedback & Requesting Assistance

Your feedback helps us improve, and we are here to help. If you have trouble accessing any part of this website, need information in an alternative format, or want help scheduling or learning about our services, please contact us — we are glad to assist and to provide the information or service through another channel:

Contact Mahi Plumbing for accessibility help

When you reach out, it helps to include the page address, a description of the problem, and the browser and assistive technology you are using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility messages within 5 business days and to work with you toward a resolution.

Ongoing Effort & Review

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time project. We review this website and this statement periodically — at least once per year and as we add significant new features — and we work to address issues that are reported to us. This statement was last reviewed and updated on June 25, 2026.

This statement is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal advice. Mahi Plumbing recommends having its own attorney review this statement for any state-specific or ADA nuances that apply to its business.
